Pre-Construction Services
The Porter Company's commitment to doing the finest work possible starts long before construction even begins. We bring years of experience in pre-construction services, including design review, budgeting, estimating, scheduling and major equipment purchasing. During the design development stage, we work closely with the project team - the mechanical engineer, general contractor, architect and others - in order to help plan the most efficient and cost-effective approach to the mechanical portion of the job.
CAD/Detailing
The Porter Company understands the importance of coordination among the different trades on a project. Without proper coordination, project schedules and construction, projects are adversely affected. We have the tools and personnel to assist with the mechanical design and ensure proper coordination.
Our CAD (Computer Aided Design) Department utilizes 2D and 3D modeling software to produce coordination drawings. The same software can be used to generate detailed spool drawings for fabrication purposes.

Clean Room Certification
The Porter Company is NEBB-certified and we offer computerized clean room characterization. This includes filter scans, work-bench level particle counts, and quick scan of area/tools, velocity spot checks, parallelism, and a variety of pressure tests. These are designed to pinpoint clean room contamination which reduces semiconductor yields.
